Show Me A Sign To all of us who at one time or other have faltered ......
Show Me A Sign
Thru eyes of uncertainty,
I want to beleive that...
God loves, me!
My faith is broken.
Doubt fills my mind...
I pray if God hears me,
He will show me a sign.
I have drifted away...
Into a sea of pain.
Knowing not if I will return again.
I have fallen off that special boat.
Into the darkness all alone.
When all I want is to find my way home.
Into the heart from which I have strayed,
Giving me strength to chase the doubt away.
Bring me back into the fold.
So I may speak your praises...
As I grow old.

| Author's Comments: | | I wrote this poem in a time of great stress and pain and I really felt lost and alone. With all my family around me I knew what was missing my faith was faltering and so I have made a concious effort to not let myself fall into that pit again. It has happend tho, only for a day and then I snap out of it. | From the author's book: | | Chapter: Inspirational | | Poem first accepted for publication on Oct 26 2006 | Review this poem | | Add this Author to my favorites | | Send message to KarenJeanMarie | | |
