Foot Bridge Across My Soul Pat's Foot Bridge ChallengeGazing out the window
sun warm upon my face
deep witin my heart
emotions aching for release.
A force inside my mind
opens up the door
nature calling softly
touches desires known before.
I feel my heart relax
gentleness restored.
Feet travel their direction
with compassion to explore.
Longings of my heart
a guided pathway to unfold.
Exciting me with interest
through the eyesight of my soul
appears a faded foot bridge
age has left it grey and old.
Deep hunger to fulfill
draws me closer to the edge
where fear of the unknown
denies me passage on the bridge.
